I entered the world of violin making after a long journey. In love with music since I was a child, I studied viola at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and played in various orchestras.
Over time, I became captivated by the craftsmanship and sound of string instruments themselves. To develop my skills, I pursued studies in violin making and restoration at the Cremona violin-making school in Italy. This opened new opportunities, including internships across Europe, one of the most impactful being with renowned restorer Claire Mollimard in Saint Antonin, France.
Looking for new challenges, I relocated to Brussels, where I worked with several luthiers. In 2021, I began sharing the workshop of Denis de Fauconval, a double bass restorer, working both independently and collaboratively. One notable collaboration was making a small five string double bass inspired on a Gagliano model and the recent restoration of a Claude Boivin double bass. Now based in Saint Gilles, I continue to focus on the creation of new instruments and restoration.
In May 2024, I participated in the EKHO exhibition in Brussels, and in August 2024, I took part in the Brandenburg Workshop, where I exchanged ideas and techniques with fellow violin makers. I am also a member of the BVBA (Belgian Violin and Bow Makers).
